New Debut

It’s really fun running the new debut in this food business. As a novelist-chef, frankly, it makes me more excited in writing and in my daily life with my best friend Maryah Ulfa. I can feel it; because of my brain keeps thinking my energy is more abundant. In every angle of thought always encourages me to write immediately, but my time is so narrow now. I have to be patient.

Indeed, there is a feeling of tired that pierces my body and it makes my joint aches because getting ‘watery play’ in my kitchen. Hmnn, now, my days are like ironing. It’s rhythm begins to close my mother’s pattern; from early morning to early morning again; but my fingers have not broken like my mother’s fingers yet.

I keep trying to get around this new role so that it is more effective, balanced and still cool in every time corner; such like the vision of “Sikasik” brand that enclosed inside it. That challenges are it can be felt crunchy and sweet like my cooking.

This is the second day I have been trying to open the stalls early morning to serve sahur food and only today has the sales. Yesterday was late opened so that customers had difficulty managing order, zero order. Honestly, there is a feeling of touched emotion and getting happy when preparing the order from the customer. Being able to get involved in providing food for families who are fasting is a special pleasure for a chef-novelist like myself; yes, just look at the result; a writing flowing quickly filling the space of this site.

For readers are curious and want to know “Sikatsikat Rice” menu; this menu is the incarnation of tempura or katsu or whatever the name is, which are the type of powdered chicken product; Sikatsikat is totally different with others and I guarantee that is difficult to find like what I made because there is a love of a mother in the spices. It flows so far and so deep.

The spices are very distinctive and covered personally by me. It’s yummy consumed together sunkist sauce. Piece by piece; all of these are about myself how always cooking for my beloved child. What I sell is what we eat all this time and how I sell it is how I always process it for us to eat.

At the end that feels just the way it is in each bite.
