This year’s celebrating of Nyepi is very special to me. Nobody knew what has influenced my thoughts, I’m such a large current drawn to celebration of Nyepi. Maybe because I connected with friends in Bali and secretly jealous with the spiritual experience of that friend has. There is a sense of urgency, I immediately want to reach them to Bali tonight as well. Strengthening the community of prayer. Feel the magical sensation of Nyepi such found the missing key.

If Bali is denoted a frenzied human heart, lust mixed with dust, pulled within one same point of view: about the purpose of human being created. Is only these—born, school desperately, work furiously and eventually died in vain? No place capable be hushed aside from Bali.

 
The Ingredient Maker
Nyepi adds one aspect of spirituality human beings who need to meet The Ingredient Makers of they. After a lot of suffering and pain of transformation towards a better person, human beings need momentum to start a new day.

Nyepi with its talent capable of bewitching so many hearts participated in searching the essence of life. Only in silence medium the discerning way could be retrieved. If can control the mind, then hearts would be at peace. I thought no longer desired by man for have something beside to merges back with the source of true stillness.

 
Not Should Be Hindu
I come from a poor background of culture and the celebrations as if thirsty and looking for where this world I can get to meet with spiritual dimensions. The more layers the more hard with meaning.

Doesn’t have to be a Hindu and not necessarily Bali’s people could feel the meaning of Nyepi. I think this is very humane in the context “of the fact that human spirituality is the same”, that the religion like to differ it. I this case religion being seem odd in the horizon of spirituality. And when a friend of Muslims can feel the essence of Christmas without having to be a follower of Jesus. I say honestly, if the voice of azan, heard from one end of the hill in my home can lull me, my soul such invited to the heavenly court; should there no need tears over from small girls on rape incident by human depravity named NIIS, Boko Haram and Al-Qaeda. It should have no children as shield. Should it no heinous murders in the name of God.

Should nothing! Should this earth peacefully as the purpose of the first creation by The Sang Hiyang Widhi.

 
Wordless
There is incredible anger until it is unable to speak. The world has for too long tired. Already too many tears. Too much blood has been spilled. Already too much strife. The wars continue occur in the Middle East, in Africa, in parts of Russia. Earth it seemed to explode. The energy of Nyepi day I hope flowing from the Bali to the end of the world. Thawed frozen ones, which are bent straightened and the turbulent soothed. Given the desperate a hope.

The opposite of evil is the goodness. Our hands may not be able to reach a chaotic world but we still have a small piece of heart that belongs our true, that always we keep not harming life. There is no other way but keep saving up the goodness in life as the offering of prayers for world peace.

Nyepi Day is the closing and opening that the nature of human flesh will continue to be tested, and then ‘ogoh-ogoh’ oh the human expelled again went away every day and please do not return in any form. The world was immersed in the silence of the Nyepi.
